Experience 3D reality. Edit, create and display all designs in true 3D, with ability to zoom in, out, to fit, or real size. There is a textured background for realistic view in most modules (excludes 3D Design Splitter), and you can alter the background color as you please.
Select your favorite colors. Choose from 19 thread manufacturers and 167 thread ranges over 11,000 threads! Ackerman (Isacord, Isafill, Isalon, Isamet, Yenmet), Arc, Brother, Coats, DMC, Gutermann-Dekor, Janome, Kingstar/Fujix, Madeira, Marathon, Mettler, Radiante, Robison-Anton, Signature, Solar Active, Sulky, Superior, Tire, Yli. You may also design your personal MyThreads palette and even add your own unique threads or those from new manufacturers, including specialty threads.
View specialty threads never seen on the computer before. Specialty threads are shown on the computer including metallic, multi-color and varying thicknesses. Print designs in 3D. Print designs in 3D realistic thread colors, with their color information, dimensions, technical info and notes. Use the Design Worksheet as a sewing guide and as a template for placing embroideries on garments.
Multi-format. See thumbnail images of your embroidery files from any drive or folder*. Load and save in all major embroidery file formats**. Drag and drop embroidery files from Window Explorer into most modules.
All Modules are fully integrated. Start all software modules from the integrated QuickLink toolbar. Visible clipboard in many modules see the embroidery or section you have copied to the clipboard.
Send To makes it simple. Two Send To options are included in all modules; the quick and easy way to send an embroidery to your machine.

Create your own cross stitch patterns. Design beautiful cross stitch embroideries with the quality of hand-stitching, and the speed of a machine. Design traditional motifs on the screen or the Cross Stitcher Wizard will create them for you automatically. Add a monogram for a personal touch.

From the computer to the fabric. Scan in your images, use photos taken with a digital camera or clip-art. Use the pictures as templates or let the Cross Stitcher Wizard create the design for you automatically. Set the hoop and cross size, choose the desired thread database and the number of colors. With just a few clicks you have a unique cross stitch embroidery.

Traditional and modern stitches. Choose from full, half, quarter, mini and half-height or half-width crosses. Use fixed or free backstitch to outline your embroidery, and French knots for the perfect accent. Set cross stitch sizes from 1 to 20 mm in length. Adjust the number of threads between 2 and 12 to simulate varying numbers of embroidery floss strands for crosses and outlines. Create petit point, needlepoint and traditional Gobelin, Rice Stitch, Assisi or Blackwork designs.

Designs come to life. Choose between block, 2D and 3D display. Even see your cross stitch embroideries as they will be sewn on Aida fabric, according to the background color chosen in 3D Configure.

Draw shapes with crosses, outlines and fill patterns. Choose from 9 automatic shapes to create your designs; Rectangle, Angled Square, Ellipse, Arc, Triangle, Pentagon, Hexagon, Octagon and Polygon. There are five options for drawing the shapes; Backstitch Outline, Cross-filled Backstitch, Cross Outline, Cross-filled Cross Outline, Cross-filled. The three Cross-filled shape options may be replaced by fill patterns.

Over 140 Special cross stitch and blackwork fill patterns included. Create your own fill patterns, too.

Elegant Cross Stitch Lettering. Personalize table-cloths, napkins, towels and bedclothes with classic cross stitch text. Use custom-made backstitch and cross-stitch fonts including Multi-color fonts. Alternatively, select any TrueType or OpenType font on your computer. Choose bold or italic options and any letter size for complete freedom while creating. Options include crosses, crosses with Backstitch outline or outline only. Smooth text automatically, too. You can even create text using the beautiful fill patterns!

Adapt your art. Cut copy and paste sections of your Cross Stitch Design Files. Mirror areas or whole designs horizontally and vertically or rotate 90 degrees. Automatically reflect your design up to eight times with the amazing Multiply feature. With multiple Undo and Redo capabilities, editing your design is easy.
