Bag design workshop - £40
10.00 am until 4.00pm
Do you want to know how to make a selection of your own bags? This class will show you haw to make a selection choosing from a few designs. You can make as many as you want in the time provided or just make one and experiment which its finished result. Excellent as a special treat for yourself or perfect for a gift.
What you will learn:
- To design and make your own style bag depending on what style you prefer.
- You could learn patchwork, appliqué, quilting, embellishing , attaching handles, fasteners or inserting a zip (depending on your design).
What you will need:
- Fabric from our shop (wadding will be provided)
- Good quality cotton thread
- Good quality fabric scissors
- Roller cutter
- Quilting ruler
- Bag handles (discount available from the shop)
- Zips if you choose them in your design (discount available in the shop)
- Paper scissors
- Pen
- Pins
- Your own machine if you would like to use it (we have limited machines so it is essential you book these in advance)
- A packed lunch, refreshments will be available throughout the day.
